Parchment.
The manuscript is written in one column with 30 lines per page. The majuscules take up 2 lines and occur in varying colours. Rubrics in red.
The two extant leaves are well preserved.
The fragment is written in an Icelandic gothic bookhand. The hand is identical with the main hand of AM 45 fol. (Louis-Jensen 197720).
Written in Iceland in the beginning of the fourteenth century ( Louis-Jensen 197720). Kålund's dating: the fourteenth century ( KKKat I 562 ).
According to Fornmanna sögur IX fols 2-3 of AM 325 VIII 4 b 4to were put in a cover on which Árni Magnússon had written: Þesse .2. innlgd bld eru fundin i Noregi. NB. Þetta blad accorderar vid þä Dönsku version nærre lage.
Louis-Jensen ( Louis Jensen 1977 20 ) however, is more inclined to think that this cover belonged to AM 325 VIII 4 c 4to.
