Foliation

All three volumes of Historia regum Danicorum are foliated consecutively 1-1174 by Kristian Kålund just above the right corner of the text. This volume is foliated 787-1174.

Older foliation 762-1178 in the upper right-hand corners (this foliation is, however, not consistent with the number of blank leaves). It seems possible that more leaves were reserved for the history of Christian III.

Layout
Fols 1067v-1081v are left empty for later insertion of the history of Christian II.
Binding

Half-binding with leather spine and corners; the boards are covered in brown marbled paste paper. Gilt-tooled and framed title on the spine: J.J. PONTANI / HISTORIA DANICA / AB Anno 1520 AD 1588. Above the title, the initials of Copenhagen University Library: B.U.H. are found.

Kålund wrote on the recto of the front flyleaf: indeholder bl. 787-1174 (deraf 789, 869, 890, 929, 952, 966, 985, 1036, 1155 — små lapper). June 19, 1885.
