Excerpts and notes on history, geography, topography of the Nordic countries (particularly Norwegian); genealogies; transcripts of medieval diplomas and letters. The main content is in Latin, some documents and excerpts in Nordic languages.

A few documents of this collection of texts previously belonged to the Danish historian Arild Hvitfeldt. As a result the collection was previously called Varia Adversaria Hvitfeldiana; apart from this, the content of the manuscript has no connection to him.

Udsmykning

F. 44r is taken up by a hand-drawn map of the Orkney Islands.

F. 45r is taken up by a hand-drawn map of the Duchy of Schleswig.

F. 46r is taken up by a hand-drawn map of Scotland.

Indbinding

Bound ind a half-binding with blue cloth spine and corners. Boards covered in greyinsh brown cloth from 1999. Black gilt tooled title panels.

Leaves of smaller sizes are bound as binding no I, while letters of larger sizes are bound as binding no II. The following leaves of larger sizes are bound as no II: 45-46, 55, 70-71, 72-73, 75-76, 77-78, 79-80, 81-82, 90-92, 108 and 116.

Previously bound in two folders: a + b.

The volume was subsequently bound in a Kålund binding with black cloth spine and corners; the boards were covered in brown, stripy paper from the period 1880-1920.
