The scribe, Jón Erlendsson, added variants to Krákumál to compare to Ole Worm´s edition. There are marginalia throughout the manuscript, of which some may be by Torfæus.
The manuscript was written in Iceland in the seventeenth century by Jón Erlendsson. It might once have been part of a larger codex.
