The first two verses are dated 1769 and 1770, respectively.
Pontus rímur

Thirty rímur cantos.
On fol. 47r the fourteenth and the following rímur are provided with the heading Vidbætir Peturs Einarssonar sýslumans í Dalasýslu á Bállará . In a final verse the rímur are indicated as mærd Magnusar Jonssonar.

Nine rímur cantos. According to a note by Rask cantos 1-5 are authored by Sveinn Sölvason and cantos 6-9 by Jón Þorláksson.

Paper.
According to a note by sýslumaður Jón Jakobsson on fol. 3v, the priest Eggert Eiríksson wrote the first five rímur cantos of Pontus rímur (ff. 4r-114v).
and Sveinn Sölvasson wrote the rest of the rímur cantos.
According to a note by Rasmus Rask on fol. 221r, Hænsa-Þóris rímur (fols 193r-221r) is written by Páll Benediktsson: allar þessar rímur hefir uppskrifad Páll Benediktsson á Túngu
The rímur on fols 223r-91v are the author Benedikt Sigurðsson's autographs.
Marginalia by Rasmus Rask and Jón Jakobsson. Fols 289-91 have varying dates and signatures by the author Benedikt Sigurðsson.
