Band

The leaves are kept in a conservation folder and a conservation box. A slip of paper, which appears to be part of the former binding, has been glued to the inside of the box. The slip contains an Arnamagnæan turquoise label with the shelfmark and a short description in Kålund's hand: H. Gram, Om den Arna|magnæanske Samling. (Brev til rigsråd og greve ... 11 sept. 1734) Stockholm, Vitterheds-akademiens samlr.

Uppruni

The letters in parts I and II were written in Stockholm in the autumn of 1916, and the transcript of the letter in part III was made at the same time.

Aðföng
The Arnamagnæan Collection in Copenhagen must have acquired the manuscript before 1919, since Kålund registered Acc. 26 in his handwritten catalogue of the Accessoria collection (AM 478 fol. (fol. 56v)). He did not, however, catalogue it as his own letters. Instead he described the content as a copy of the letter from Hans Gram - which today establishes Part III.
