Written in long lines. Rubrics and initials in red. A hand from ca. 1600 has provided the three books of The Provincial Law of Jutland (fols 1r-168r) with running titles.

Book I of The Provincial Law of Jutland is provided with several marginal notes with references to The Provincial Law of Sjælland, sixteenth-century royal decrees, and explanations of some of the words, in the same hand that wrote the running titles.

• On the inner pastedown, VH has been written, and under this the year 1883 appears.
• The following has been written on the first fly-leaf: Denne Bogh Höerer migh Enne|wolldt Rasmussen till med |rette, och bleff migh forærrit, |aff minn Kierre Höestruis |fader Rasmus Pederssenn |denn 12 decemb: Anno 1616 followed by a biblical quotation (Gudtz frøgt er Benn |desse till alld Miiscundt) and a mark (et bomærke).
• The second flyleaf has: No. 5 Holger Parsberg.
• The name, Holger Parsberg, followed by the year 1685 is found on fol. 192v.

Written in Denmark in the last quarter of the fifteenth century.

According to the writing on the two fly leaves and the marginalia on fol. 192v the codex was given to Enevoldt Rasmussen by his father-in-law, Rasmus Pedersen on 12. desember 1616. Later it was owned by Holger Parsberg (1636-1692).
