Large, fully painted and gilded opening initials with botanical ormanents. Red, dark red and or blue initials and majuscles.

In the bottom of fol. 107 two holes are found.

There are several fully painted and gilded initials; usually opening initials:

• Fol. 1r: Light red and royal blue initial M (10 lines) on a gold leaf background with botanical ornaments in blue and green, respectively, extending down the left and along the bottom margin.
• Fol. 4v: Light red and royal blue initial B (9 lines) on a gold leaf background with botanical ornaments. One ornament in light red is running up the left margin and another in green, ending in a single red strawberry, is found in the bottom margin.
• Fol. 25r: Initial S (2 lines) in gold leaf on a royal blue background with red, light red and dark blue botanical ornaments in the left margin. The ornament extending up the left margin is ending in a tendril with leaves and a single pink rose.
• Fol. 27v: Green and red initial S (7 lines) on a gold leaf background with green botanical ornaments in the left margin and pink and light red with blue leaves along the bottom margin.
• Fol. 37v: Light red initial H (5 lines) on a gold leaf background with light red and green botanical ornaments in the left and bottom margin, respectively.
• Fol. 40r: Initial N (4 lines) in gold leaf on a dark red background with dark blue botanical ornaments in the left margin.
• Fol. 51r: Initial B (3 lines) in gold leaf on a dark red background with dark and light red botanical ornaments in the left margin.
• Fol. 53r: Initial O (4 lines) in gold leaf on a dark red background with a dark blue botanical ornament in the left margin.
• Fol. 63r: Initial T (5 lines) in gold leaf on a light red background with dark blue, dark red and green botanical ornaments and a delicate tendril framing the bottom half of the page. The tendril, extending up the right margin, is ending in a light red flower.
• Fol. 85r: Dark red initial K (5 lines) on a gold leaf background and dark blue and green botanical ornaments in the left, bottom and right margin.
• Fol. 88r: Initial E (3 lines) in gold leaf on a light red background and a dark blue botanical ornament extending along the top margin. The ornaments in the left and right margins consist of delicate tendrils with green leaves; in the left margin a strawberry and a rosebud are found; the ornament in the right margin is ending in a pink pansy.
• fol. 90r: Initial H (4 lines) in gold leaf on a royal blue background. Green botanical ornament in the top margin, light red and pink in the left margin. Delicate tendrils in the bottom margin and right margin, respectively. In the bottom margin these are adorned with leaves, a strawberry and a pink pansy.

There are several notes on fol 107r. On fol. 107v is written: Hafniæ, | Anno 1685 Den 20 August | kiőbte Jeg; Strange Fy-|ren; denne Bog paa en | Auction. A prayer seems to have been erased above the sentence.

Two slips of paper with information about the gatherings are inserted at the back of the codex.

The manuscript was written in Denmark at the end of the fifteenth century. Additions from the sixteenth century (fol. 101v), c. 1600 (fols 96r-100v) and the end of the sixteenth century (fols 102r-103v).
