The manuscript is written in one column throughout; The calendar has 16 ruled lines per page whereas the book of hours has 12 ruled lines per page. The written area measures: 600 mm x 380 mm.
Written in a Gothic Bookhand.
13v: Full-page Flemish style miniature (ca. 650 mm x 400 mm) of Virgin and Child: Mary sitting on a throne with the Infant Jesus in her lap; the faces are, however, almost completely effaced. A pink canopy indicate that this miniature could be the work of the so-called 'Masters of the Pink Canopies' 'Pink canopy', but ornamented with a Dutch border with gilded treefoils in penwork.
Gilt major initials and painted borders. Painted frames surround the beginning of every hour. Minor gilded initials (two lines) alternating in red and blue ink. Lombards (one line) in alternating blue and red ink.
Some later additions on the originally blank leaves are found:
