Book of Hours ; France, 1400-1410

Athugasemd
The manuscript contains texts in several languages: A Calendar of which November and December are missing, Evangelium Secundum Iohannem, The Second Gospel According to John, some prayers and hymns of which pp. 231-250 and 333-338 are written in French. Pp. 167-68 contain a prayer to the Virgin in Italian and on three inserted leaves from c. 1700 a description of the manuscript itself, written in Latin, is found.

Written in France 1400-1410 ( Drigsdahl 1997-2007 ). Kålund's dating: c. 1300.

According to the AM-slip, Árni Magnússon acquiered the manuscript at Frederik Rostgaard's auction in 1726.
