The manuscript has been written by one scribe, although a corrector has amended some of he translations and added some diacritic and punctuation marks.

History

Origin

Written in Denmark. Kålund dates it the fifteenth century ( Katalog over Den Arnamagnæanske Håndskriftsamling ), whereas Diderichsen dates it more precisely to the second half of the fifteenth century ( Diderichsen 1937p. xxv, ).

Provenance

The fragment was found in the Åbenrå grain register from 1604: cf. the bottom of fol. 1r: Apenrader Korn Register |Anno 1604.
