This manuscript consists of two parts, both paper: Part I consists of 10 folio-size unbound leaves and Part II consists of the quarto-size codex. Part I is folded into two and kept inside the codex.

Written in Spain in 1609, based on the information in the title on fol. 1r.

The manuscript was in the possession of Cornelius Pedersen Lerche at the time of his death and is mentioned in the 1682 auction catalogue under folio manuscripts as no. 11 (See Catalogus, p. 164).

Written by Joannes de Torres, based on the information in the title on fol. 3r (Kålund's Katalog provides the name as Corres).

Signature V. 359 in light brown ink on the top left corner of fol. 1r and on the top left corner of the front cover. Signature 359 in red crayon on the top left corner of the front cover.

Limp binding. Laced parchment case with semi-yapp edges on the fore edge.The title on the spine reads: Chronicon Flavii Dextri.
