Mostly mnemonics. After the first half of fol. 5v, a Latin verse in drottkvætt is found. In the bottom of fol. 5v, two prohibitions against stealing the codex in Latin and heksameter with a translation into Latin, are found.

2r: The wind rose showing the twelve winds and their directions.

3r: Hemispherical world map (a mappa mundi). A circular depiction of the constellations of the sun, the moon and the earth along with the position of the continents. The text inside the mappa mundi was published in Altnordische Kosmographie, 407 . A translation into German is added below the Old Norse text.

3v: The astronomical system shown in a figure formed by concentric circles into which the four elements, the seven heavens and the planets are inscribed.

6r: A drawing of the zodiac as a twelve-partite system of concentric circles along with superscriptions and a written explanation.

7v: A system of circles illustrating the lunar circle during a lunar year. Below four minor circles and a square indicating the numbering of days of each month.

7r A map of the labyrinth (vlundar hűs).

8v A map of Jerusalem with drawings of the main buildings and monuments and superscriptions in Latin. The map is similar to the one found in Hauksbók. (AM 455 4to). Most recently edited in Kedwards 202051Fig. 7..

The map is similar to the ones in AM 736 I 4to (fol. 2v) and Hauksbók (AM 544 4to, fol. 19r) and they are most possibly copied from the same exemplar.

8r: A human hand illustrating computistic rules finger counting.
