Written in Iceland 1500-1540 ( Magnús Már Lárusson 1951 159). Kålund's dating: The sixteenth century ( Katalog ).

Erhvervelse

The manuscript used to be a part of the same codex as AM 687 c I 4to. Árni Magnússon got this manuscript in Flatey from Guðrun Ögmundardóttir in 1707. In the bottom margin of f. 1r of AM 687 c I 4to Árni added: Fra Gudrunu ỏgmundar d. i Flatey 1707.

During the restoration 2 April 1963-11 November 1965 the leaves were restored, put on meeting guards and put in a cardboard cover.
