Same hand as in AM 655 XVIII and the two fragments may once have been parts of the same manuscript.

On an AM-slip Árni Magnússon wrote: fra Magnuſe Jons ſyne i Snoksdal 1704.

Written in Iceland in the thirteenth century (Widding 196090). Kålund's dating: c. 1300 (Katalog II 65 ).
Aðföng
According to the AM-slip Árni Magnússon acquired the manuscript from Magnús Jónsson of Snóksdalur in 1704.
