Umbrot
Blank spaces for headings and initials; in only a few places those were inserted using black ink. The writing and layout is similar to AM 243 k fol. and the two manuscripts originally belonged to the same codex.
Ástand
At places (fols 7, 8, 20, 21) the parchment has started to crumble.
Spássíugreinar og aðrar viðbætur
Some drawings are found in the bottom margins of fols 21 ff. In the margin of fol. 27v: Þeſsa, bok A sera Arne a Oſum veſtur (from the seventeenth century) is written.
Band
When Kålund wrote his catalogue, two parchment leaves containing The Palms (Psalterium IV and Psalterium VIII) and a parchment leaf from a Graduale Gufudalese, all with musical notation, were used as binding material.
These are now removed; The gradual is transferred to Access a β, hs 2, fol. 13, Psalterium IV is transferred to Access 7d, hs 109, fols 1-2 and Psalterium VIII is transferred to Access 7d, hs 113, fol. 6.
Fylgigögn
There are two AM-slips; on the first Árni Magnússon wrote: Þeſſe Tractatus var aptan vid Speculum Regale, er eg feck af Sera Pale Jonsfyne ä Melſtad (i. e. AM 243 k, fol.). On the second he gives a similar account of the undivided codex in its former binding (see the descritption of AM 243 k, fol.). It is added that the lacuna at the end of AM 626 4to did not exist in its former state.
