Accompanying Material

On the fly-leaf Árni Magnússon noted the names of the sagas in the manuscript. Magnus Einarsson wrote underneath: Úr bokum er eg feck af Sira Olafe Gisla syne | Hofe i Vopnafirde., a sentence that originated from Árni Magnússon and can also be found in AM 349 4to and other manuscripts.

Origin

Written in Iceland c. 1687, probably as part of a larger codex (cf. Loth, Loth 1960, 122-142).

Acquisition

Árni Magnússon got the manuscript from the priest Ólafur Gíslason who also wrote it.
