On the old cover of the manuscript Árni Magnússon wrote that he found the two leaves in 1713 in the spine of a cadastre concerning the chapter revenues of the see of Trondheim. The cadastre was written in Trondheim in 1618 and was presumably bound there too; subsequently it belonged to the titular councillor of state Jens Ronsenkrantz , and Árni Magnússon acquired it after his death in 1702: Þesse 2. innlỏgdu blỏd fann eg 1713. innani hryggnum ä einne Iardabok yfir Throndhiems Capitels indkomster giorde 1618. hveria iardabok eg eignast hafde 1702 efter Etats Raad Jens Rosencrantz. enn eckj athugad hana so grant fyrr enn nu. bokinn var innsaumud, og þesse 2 blỏd lỏgd innani pergamented til styrktar vid hryggenn.
