The following provenance notes can be noted: Liber Andreæ petrj Aroſiensis og Hunc librum mihi Andreæ Arosiensi dono contulit optimus vir, et pietate insignis, Dominus Laurentius Benedictj studiosus vpsaliensis, anno 1582

An AM-slip in Árni Magnússon's hand, pasted to fol. 2, reads: Denne Svenſke loubog haver ieg bekommet af Amtmans Frieſſe 1720 .

The first owner of the manuscript appear to be a student in Uppsala, Laurentius Benedicti who presented it to an Andreas Petri in 1582. The history of the manuscript from here and how the manuscript came into possession of the amtmand, Nicolaus Friesse is unknown.

According to the AM-slip, Árni Magnússon acquired the manuscript from Nicolaus Friesse in 1720.
