Björn Jónson of Skarðsá's comment on the Heiðreks-riddles has been added.
Only the upper half of fol. 95r is filled in, but with no loss of text. There was originally left space - 1 ½ page - for the lacuna. The riddle section is written in two columns; the riddles are written in the left column with Björn's comments in the right.

Paper.
Foliated in the upper right hand corner. Due to an earlier mix-up of some leaves, the pages have been wrongly paginated, which was later corrected by Jón Sigurðsson
The four last leaves were not originally belonging to the manuscript. During an earlier binding, these leaves were inserted and during that process a good deal of leaves were confused. Jón Sigurðsson later added notes in the margins, stating the right order. This order has now been accomplished.
There are catchwords on fols. 18v, 26v, 38v, 46v, 47r, 54v, 57v, 62v, 70v, 78v, 79v, 80v, 81v, 84v, 85v, 101r, 102v, 103v, 104 r, 106 v and 123v. Some of them seem to have been added by another hand.
The manuscript is written in long lines with 23-34 lines per page, except for the riddle section of Hervarar saga with Björn á Skarðsá's comments (fols 101r-108v) which is written in two columns.
Spaces are left empty for initials.
The manuscript is rather damaged due to moist and wear; here and there it is restored.
The bulk of the manuscript is written by Jón Erlendsson, except for fols 87r and 94v:14-95r which are written in other hands.
There are several marginal notes, partly in Bishop Brynjólfur Sveinsson's (?) hand (Hervarar saga).
Árni Magnússon added the final lines of Þorsteins þáttur bæjarmagns on fol.123v.
Fols. 146-149 are later insertions, containing seventeeth century collector's accounts in Danish.
The manuscript is bound in in a modern standard half-binding with leather spine and corners. 328 mm x 208 mm x 31 mm.
Written in Iceland in the seventeenth century.
As for example the sizes of the leaves are of unequal size, the manuscript is most probably a composite.
