The text is written in one column with 17 to 23 lines per page. There are cathchwords. Spaces left blank for initials.
The last half of the manuscript has suffered due to exposure to humidity and fol. 623 has a tear.
Written by Jón Erlendsson of Villingaholt.
Binding from 1911; 315 mm x 215 mm x 85 mm. Half-binding with a parchment spine. The boards are covered in glossy marbled paper. The spine is from when Árni Magnússon collected the manuscripts. Árni Magnússon wrote: Olafs Saga Tryggvas. | ur Flateyiarbok. | Tom..II. pag. 765-1431. on the spine. On the upper pastedown, Kålund noted the date: 8. ágúst 1911.
The original parchment cover from 1700-1730 containing Petrus de Herental's Psalm commentaries was removed and transferred to Access 7e, hs. 123 (ff. 42, 46-47, 54, 56-57 and 78) in 1911.
Written in Iceland in the seventeenth century.

In 1999 the manuscript was dry cleaned and the spine was stabilised.
