Paper
The first 25 leaves are worn and has therefore been restored. A piece of f. 214 is cut out with the consequence of loss of some final lines. A new piece of paper, a fragment of a letter dated Fagradal 1732, has been added. The recto carries the superscription: Finis libri, the verso: Christian i Vigri a bókina.
Written in different hands.
The book opens with a flourished initial.
At fol. 215v a thanksgiving in verse is found.
In the time of Kristian Kålund fragments the fly-leaves and pastedowns consisted of fragments private letters. One of the lettes used at the binding is addressed Jón Ásgeirson of Sandar.
