Half-binding from the 19th cent. Boards covered with marbled paper (blue, orange, and gray); leather spine and corners.
A provenance sticker affixed to the foot of spine reads: Nykjöbing Cath-Skole Bibliothek.
The spine has six panels, five of them are plain, one has a sticker with the title KNYTLINGA.
The manuscript was written in Denmark by Frederik Julius Schaldemose around 1816. It belongs to the collection of manuscript which was presented to Nykøbing Katedralskole by Frederik Julius Schaldemose.
The manuscripts Acc. 51-62 belong to the collection of manuscripts Frederik Schaldemose bequeathed to Nykøbing Katedralskole. Most of them are Fredrik Schaldemose's transcriptions of Old Norse texts.
The Arnamagnæan Collection in Copenhagen acquired the manuscript from the school in April 2007 as a gift.
