A part of the printed edition of Grágás with handwritten notes by Vilhjálmur Finsen supplied on added leaves of paper. From Vilhjálmur Finsen's Grágás: Stykker, som findes i det Arnamagnæanske Haandskrift nr. 351 fol., Skálholtsbók og en række andre Haandskrifter.

Foliation in pencil, also including the added leaves with hand-written notes and printed leaves.
The printed pages are paginated 580-714.
The volume is in good condition.
Half-binding from the 19th cent. Boards covered with marbled paper, dark brown leather spine and corners. Pale grey-green paper used for pastedown and flyleaves.
On the rear pastedown there is a blue lable which reads: CARL KØHN | BOGBINDER | Pilestræde 40
On the spine a gilt embossed title Ord-|register and six horizontal geometric decorations are found.
Two letters are kept together with the volume, these are:
- A letter to Vilhjálmur Finsen written in Kristiania by Johan Fritzner and dated to 10. júlí 1883.
- A letter to Vilhjálmur Finsen written in Reykjavík by Jón Þorkelsson and dated to 30. nóvember 1888.
Uppruni og ferill
The notes are written between 1883-1892, as Vilhjálmur Finsen's edition of Grágás was published in 1883 while Vilhjálmur Finsen died in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1892.
There is a signature VFinsen on the second front flyleaf.
