An inserted slip in Árni Magnússons hand reads: Þetta blad fieck eg 1703. af Gudrunnu ỏgmundar dottur i Flatey, sagde hun þad væri komid nordan ur lande.
The fragment is written in Iceland in the first half of the fourteenth century ( Louis-Jensen 1963 xxxv). Kålund's dating: c. 1400 ( KKKat ).
According to Árni Magnússon's account on an inserted slip the MS comes from the northern Iceland, and later on it belonged to Guðrun Ögmundardóttir, who in her turn gave it to him.
Árni Magnússon got the MS from Guðrun Ögmundardóttir in 1703.
