Parchment.
Written in long lines. There are 36 lines recto but only 35 verso. There are traces of red rubrics.
The recto of the fragment is in extremely poor condition. Large parts of the text are so worn that they are illegible to the naked eye. The verso is in much better condition.
The text is written in a very neat, regular hand. The same hand also wrote AM 325 III α 4to.
The top left of the recto shows faint traces of red that seems to indicate the initial A of King Arthur's name, with which the saga commences, extended 10 lines down on the left margin. The other initials are also in red.
Bound in a blue cardboard binding.
The leaf is written in Iceland in the middle of the fourteenth century. ( Kalinke 1987lxxxvi, xci). Kålund's date: c. 1300 ( KKKat I 767 ).
