The bottom margins are excised including the bottom line of fol. 2. One leaf is missing between fols 1 and 2. On an AM-slip Árni Magnússon commented on this: Hier ä mille vantar eigi nema .1. blad. The vellum is, however, lighter and cleaner than could be expected from an Icelandic manuscript.
Two initials are preserved: the first is green with red flourishing, the other red with blue flourishing.

On the AM-slip Árni Magnússon has commented on a leaf missing between the two preserved: Hier ä mille vantar eigi nema .1. blad.
The fragment is written in Iceland the second half of the thirteenth century ( Johnsen & Jón Helgason 1941960). Kålund's date: c. 1300 ( Katalog I 566 ).
