The leaf is written in Iceland c. 1400.
This leaf is all that survives of a manuscript called Codex Resenianus. Peder Resen collected a number of manuscripts which he subsequently donated to The University Library of Copenhagen and a catalogue of his collection Petri Johannis Resenii bibliotheca regi academiæ Hafniensi donata Hafniæ M. DC. L. XXXV was made. The manuscript now known as Codex Resenianus was described as Capsa VIII. Ord. I fol., nr 27 on p. 259. Peder Resen’s collection was destroyed in the Copenhagen fire of 1728 together with the Univerity Library.
On the AM-slip Árni Magnússon informs that he has got the leaf from Iceland. He does not mention any date, but as he refers to Codex Resenianus as an existing codex, he must have acquired it before 1728.
