Written in two columns with 39 lines per column.
Most of the bottom margin is torn or crumbled away and the ink of two of the majuscules contained a copper concoction corroding the vellum into a Þ and a S shape, respectively. Due to its former use as binding material, the parchment of fol. 1v has, in some places, become so or the writing so indistinct that reading is made difficult.
Written by a skilled Icelandic Gothic bookhand.
The manuscript is written in Iceland in first quarter of the fourteenth century (Widding 1960 91 og Karlsson 1967 59 ). Kålund's dating: the fourteenth century ( KKKat ).
The only known owner of the leaf is the Rev. Magnús Markússon
In the top margin of fol. 1r Árni Magnússon wrote: frä Sr Magnuse Markussyne 1725.
