Written in double columns. The columns once consisted of 41 lines and the size of each column is approximately 220 mm x 80 mm. Only the traces of rubrics are left on 1r. The traces of a red and a yellow majuscule is left on f. 1r.
The leaf bear traces of it former use as binding where ploughing of the lower part have caused a loss of text.
The manuscript is written in an Icelandic Gothic bookhand.

According to Ólafur Halldórsson 2000 clv , AM 325 VIII 2 c 4to, AM 325 VIII 2 e 4to, AM 325 VIII 2 f 4to, AM 325 VIII 2 g 4to and AM 325 VIII 2 h 4to originally belonged to the same codex.
The only known owner of this fragment is Snorri Jónsson.
In the left margin of fol. 1r Árni Magnússon has noted: Fra Snorra Jonssyne 1721 .
