The manuscript is provided with a foliation from 1-43 and a number of columns from 1-170.
The manuscript is written in double columns with 37 or 38 lines per column. A few exceptions of 36 or 39 lines per column occur. Rubrics in red. Majuscules occur in red, blue, violet and green. Some of the majuscules have a red flourishing.
The manuscript is fragmentary. Of fol. 1 only the inner half is extant and the lower part is also cut away. Fol. 2 and 43 are also damaged by cutting. Some of the outer margin of fol. 5 has been cut away, and several leaves have small holes and stains.

The manuscript is bound in a modern standard half binding from 1970.
The manuscript is written in Iceland in the fourteenth century.
