The manuscript is written in long lines. There are 31 lines on ff. 1r and 2r, 29 lines on f. 1v and 28 lines on f. 2v.
The leaves are difficult to read because of wear and therefore the writing subsequently has been touched up at several places.
Jón Ólafsson wrote the following marginal note on fol 1r: B and Folium Historicum Membraneacenum prius .
An AM-slip that has been cut out of the former cover, om which Árni Magnússon wrote Ex Miraculis Sancti Olavi exists.
The leaves are written in Iceland c. 1250.

During the conservation 23.09.1961.-15.01.1963 the leaves were set on meeting guards and put in a cover.
