Parchment.
The manuscript consists of 5 gatherings:
Rubrics in red that now are effaced and partly illegible.
The majuscules are red or green. On the versos of ff. 5, 13, 15 and 16 the left margin is covered by an ornamentation that is connected with the majuscules.
Additions from the fourteenth century occur on fol. 5r: skrifa þu alldre beg clmxs ihabys.
Additions from the seventeenth century:
The manuscript is bound in a half binding with spine of parchment and side-coverings of marbled paper.
Written in Iceland c. 1300.
The only record of the provenance of the manuscript is the name Hakon a halogalande on fol 17r, written in the seventeenth century.
On the AM-slip Árni Magnússon notes that he has got those fragments: ur ymsum stdum ä Islande. A similar note is found on fol 54v in AM 435 a 4to.
