Parchment.
There are rubrics, chapter numbers and running titles in red, while the initials are red or blue. Some of the running titles have been damaged during trimming.
The manuscript has several defects, which have been noted throughout by Árni Magnússon; he has either inserted white paper leaves or written remarks in the bottom margin of the previous folio to indicate these defects. Fols 8r-9v are very stained and on fols 6 and 62 the bottom margins have been trimmed. There is a tear through the middle of fols 106r-111v. The notes on fol. 8r are almost illegible.
Judicial notes are written in the bottom margins of fols 22v and 49v.
The manuscript was written in Sweden and dates to the second half of the fourteenth century.
