The manuscript has been foliated in the top right-hand corner of each recto page. The original foliation appears to have been wrong, and there are now correct numbers written over these original numbers in several places in the manuscript.
Written in long lines. There are running titles, partly contemporary, partly added in a later hand.
The manuscript is undecorated. Initials usually fill two lines and are bold but not decorated (see, however, the initial in Vmbotz [fol. 169v]). The are sometimes ink flourishes at the end of sections to fill out the page.
Running titles have been added at the top of every page (første bogs taffle, første bogh, anden bogs taffle, Anden Bogh, etc). There are a few marginal notes, including references (for example, fols 18v, 19r, 64v, 91v, 150r-162v), which are often modern. There are also occasional guide-letters (for example, fols 21v, 29v, 53v, 77v, 85v, 101v, 109v), catchwords (for example, fol. 138v), and the initials H S in same hand as main text (for example, fols 140r, 149v). Fol. 198v has the following letters at the end of the text, presumably an anagram of the scribe's name: H A K R N M o E S? T E N S M N. The following marginal additions are particularly noteworthy:
Fol. 31r in the top margin (pen trial): guh'
Fol. 53r in the right-hand margin (pen trial, upside down): fader vor þu sem |fader vor þu
Fol. 64r at the top of the right-hand margin (somewhat smudged, perhaps an attempt to delete this obscene note): ?? Mattur og milldi bru p | og kirkiki til sendin |yður þionusta i ad ba |ugt vil eg giora þin |ad þu satt E |til huern m |streða þig v|din hiwrdu h|eri iola nott
Fol. 88r in the right-hand margin (pen trial, upside down): fader | fader uor þ |fa
Fol. 109r in the right-hand margin (pen trial, upside down): fader vo
Fol. 133v in the top margin: Dominus
Fol. 134v in the top margin, written sideways: Gardez |Reth |Gardez |Reth
Fol. 154v at the bottom of the left-hand margin, written upside down: gud hyalpe myer
