Árni Magnússon wrote the following on the AM-slip: Þetta 1 1/2 blad tok Monsr Þorsteinn Sigurdzson med sier fra Islandi 1715. og hafdi hann þetta fragment feinged Nordr i landi, enn eigi i Austfiỏrdum. Þad kom hingad 1716.
The fragment is written in Iceland c. 1300.
According to the AM-slip Þorsteinn Sigurðsson owned the fragment, and he once got it from the northern Iceland.
According to the AM-slip Árni Magnússon got the codex from Þorsteinn Sigurðsson in 1716.
