In 1885 the original parchment cover, containing Petrus de Herential’s Psalm commentary, was transferred to Acess. 7e Hs. 123 ff. 24, 60-61 and 65). Otto Ehlert replaced the parchment with marbled paper.
Probably written in Copenhagen, Denmark towards the end of the 17th century. According to Árni Magnússon's account on fol. 1, the manuscripts AM 58 fol-AM 60 fol. were likely transcribed from a manuscript in Peder Resen's collection, and given that there is nothing to indicate that Torfæus borrowed manuscripts from Resen, it must be assumed that Ásgeir Jónsson transcribed these manuscripts in Copenhagen.
