Paginated 2-101. Pagination starts on f. 3r Ff. 1r-v and 53v-54v are blank and not paginated.
The manuscript is in a good condition.
The text is written in one column.
There are 22-29 lines per page.
Written by Frederik Julius Schaldemose.
No decorations.
On the title page there in a note “(Efter en Afskrivt, som tilhörer profes: | B. Thorlacius, afskrevet af F. Schaldemose. )”, a date 1816, and a provenance note “foræret Skolebibliotheket af Afskriveen.”
Half-bound in the 19th cent. Boards covered with marbled paper (brown, gray, and red); brown leather spine and corners.
Embosed title on the spine: “Kor | maks | Saga”
A provenance sticker affixed to foot of spine: “Nykjöbing Cath-Skole Bibliothek”.
History
Written in Denmark in 1816.
The manuscripts Acc. 51-62 came from Nykøbing cathedral school. Most of them are Fredrik Schaldemose's transcriptions of Norse texts.
The manuscripts were given as a gift to the Nykøbing Katedralskole by Frederik Schaldemose. The Arnamagnæan Collection in Copenhagen acquired the manuscript from the school in April 2007 as a gift.
