Foliation

The number 31 has been omitted in the foliation and 100 occurs twice.

Condition

Árni Magnússon has indicated a few defects by the insertion of white paper leaves and written remarks.

Layout

The manuscript is written in long lines throughout. There are rubrics written in red ink. 2v, 95r-v, 293r-v, 415r-v are blank leaves.

Decoration

The large initials at the beginning of new sections the initials have various colours are flourished and gilt. The smaller initials at the beginning of less important sections are either blue or red.

History

Origin

The origin of the manuscript is uncertain, however Kristian Kålund has dated it to c. 1400.
