There is an AM-slip in Árni Magnússon's hand, having several corrections: “Þetta er Sr Gudmundar ä Stadarstad er alias prentud. Er mitt, fra biskupenum Mag. Jone Widalin”.

Origin

Written in Iceland in 1663.

Provenance

On fol. 126v the following names of owners are written: “Thorfe Bergson” (1667), “Þorfynnur Sygurdsson” and the latter's son, “Jon Þorfynsson” (1685). On the AM-slip Árni Magnússon writes that the manuscript belonged to the Priest, Guðmundur Einarsson of Staðastaður.

Acquisition

According to the AM-slip Árni Magnússon acquired the manuscript from Bishop Jón Þorkelsson Vídalín.
