Paper.
The manuscript is a fragment with several leaves missing, and several leaves are stained and friable. Fols. 38-39, 71-72, and 100-101 seems to have been pasted together.
The manuscript is written in a practised Danish Gothic semi cursive hand except from the 3 letters concerning the conditions of the monastery (Nos. 98, 99, and 125), a note on the procedure of affirmation of property (No. 62) a note on real estate (No. 109) and a register on the Trinitatis chapter's property (No. 131) are all written in different hands.
Fols. 13, 18, 25, 37, 44, 54, 60 and 70 are Arkivembedsmand, Christian Plesner's transcripts of another transcript by Jacob Langebek.
On f. 15v regular squares, like that of a board game, are made in order to delete the text.
There are two accompanying leaves pasted in front of the manuscript:
The manuscript is written in Denmark; in Dueholm Monastery, Northern Jutland. It is most probably written between 1487 and 1500. The first charter is written in 1467. A charter gives the information that it was sealed by the bishops Hartvig Juel of Ribe and Niels (Stygge) of Børlum : Item thenne forskrefne dom haffuer verdugh fadher byskop Hartvigh af Ribe i sin gemme etc. beseglet. Item vtscriften aff forskrefne dom hawer bysp Nielss aff Børlom beseglet i sin gømme. The first was in office 1483-1500, and the other 1487-1533.
