Condition

f. 1 is a fragment, reduced to the lower 2/5 of a whole leaf, whereas f. 2 is completely preserved apart from a small hole caused by a the colour of an initial containing a copper connection, that has corroded the vellum. Both of the leaves are worn due to their former use as covers.

Written in double columns.

  • 2has 40 lines to each

Faint traces of rubrics in red ink are found.

Decoration

On f. 2va there is an initial (Þ?) that extends in the margin. Leaves are drawn at the extensions.

Binding

Bound in a cardboard cover from 1959.

Origin

The fragment is written in Iceland in the second half of the fifteenth century.
