History

Origin

The manuscript is written in Iceland in the last quarter of the fourteenth century.

Provenance

The only known owner of the leaf is Torfi Hallssonof Reykjafjörður who gave it to Árni Magnússon.

Acquisition

In the left margin of fol. 1v Árni Magnússon has noted: “Fra Torfa Hallzsyne i Reykjarfirde 1711”.

Custodial History

From the 2nd of March 1958 to the fourth of April 1959 the manuscript was set on meeting guards and put in a cover.
