Foliation

The manuscript is provided with a foliation from 1-43 and a number of columns from 1-170.

Condition

The manuscript is fragmentary. Of fol. 1 only the inner half is extant and the lower part is also cut away. Fol. 2 and 43 are also damaged by cutting. Some of the outer margin of fol. 5 has been cut away, and several leaves have small holes and stains.

Layout

The manuscript is written in double columns with 37 or 38 lines per column. A few exceptions of 36 or 39 lines per column occur. Rubrics in red. Majuscules occur in red, blue, violet and green. Some of the majuscules have a red flourishing.

Sidari dalkur sidunnar er burtu, og fyrri dalkurinn af pagina libri 2da. Hefr so prologus vered ä 3. dalkum. og conseqventer älika giordur sem sä er stendr i Olafs sogu þeirre er eg feck fra Bæ ä Raudasande. Þetta hefi eg feinged ur odrum stad enn sialfa bokina.”
  • An AM-slip pasted between ff. 36 and 37 concerning fol. 37 reads: “Þetta blad hefi eg feinged sier i lage. Eg ætla þad heyri hier inn.”
