The manuscript is bound in a white tooled and gilt leather binding.

History

Origin

The manuscript was written in Denmark. Kristian Kålund has dated it to the beginning of the sixteenth century.

Provenance

On fol. 212r the following statement is written: “Thenne bogh er screffuen effter | then bogh som werduge fater | med gudh biscop oluff mortenssøn | aff etc. lood scriffuæ: hues siæll | gudh haffuæ Deo. gratias”. The name “Frw Dorrethe Om | Saltoffte Mendt” is written on the back of the binding.
