269. According to Kålund (Katalog, II, 536), there should also be 37 added leaves which cannot be found nowadays in the manuscript. Fols 1r, 129r-v, 180r-181v, 205v, 221v and 235r-v are blank. Fols 49v, 128v and 269v were originally blank. 205 mm x 158 mm.

The various items are paginated separately.

Collation

There are catchwords on fols 2r-6r.

Layout

Written in one column with 19 to 21 lines (fols 2r-49r), 26 lines (fols 50r-128r) or 21 to 24 lines (fols 130r-269r) per page. The verses on fol. 21r-v are written in two columns. Running titles occur on fols 130v-180r, 182v-205r, 206v-221r and 222v-269r.

Script

Fols 50r-269r written by the priest Markús Eyjólfsson from Sandar.

The added leaves and most of the marginalia were written by sýslumaður Magnús Ketilsson from Buðardalur.

Fols 1v-49r were written by a third hand.

Additions

Some marginalia. On fol. 269v there is an annalistic note about the year 1765.
