Origin
According to a note on 101v the law text is written in Aarhus, Denmark in 1471 (“aruſs Mcdlxxo ſecundo”). The texts on ff. Vr-XVr are written in the seventeenth century.
Provenance
From the provenance notes on fol. 1v it appears that the manuscript belonged to the following men: .
Acquisition
Árni Magnússon purchased the manuscript at Jacob Bircherod's aucion. He noted on fol. IVv: “Ex auctione Birkerodianâ 1709”.
