Parchment.
The leaf bear traces of it former use as binding where ploughing of the lower part have caused a loss of text.
The manuscript is written in double columns. The columns once consisted of 41 lines and the size of each column is approximately 220 mm x 80 mm. Only the traces of rubrics are left on 1r. The traces of a red and a yellow majuscule is left on f. 1r.
The manuscript is written in an Icelandic Gothic bookhand.
History
The manuscript is written in Iceland. Kristian Kålund has dated it to c. 1400, whereas Ólafur Halldórsson has dated it more precisely to the fourth quarter of the fourteenth century.
The only known owner is Snorri Jónsson.
In the left margin of fol. 1r Árni Magnússon has noted: “Fra Snorra Jonssyne 1721”.
