The bottom part of the first blank leaves have the following notes in three different hands:
Binding

Full brown leather binding with gilt on the spine: 325 mm x 205 mm x 34 mm

The front and the back of the binding is worn badly. On the upper pastedown Árni Magnússon noted: “Ex Codice Flateyensi”. Kålund wrote the date: 17/10-1885.

History

Provenance
According to the additions of the first blank leaf the manuscript belonged to Þórður Jónsson, priest of Staðarstaður. Subsequently, the merchant, Peder Windekilde got hold of the codex and gave it to Joachim Wielandt
Acquisition
Árni Magnússon acquired the book from Wielandt.
