Numerous comtemporary marginalia, among these a glossary in Icelandic on fol. 5r can be noted.

Marginalia occur occasionally. The dissertation ends in chapter twelve but from the index on fol. 9r it can be seen that it originally consisted of eighteen chapters.

In the bottom margin of fol. 30v, a letter formula is found, containing an appeal for a poor family. In the margin of fol. 31r, formulae in Latin are found. On fol. 31v, below the last ordinance, a text in latin called de rationale is found. Some of the marginalia are published in Jón Sigurðsson: Diplomatarium IslandicumII 647-648.
